The Idea


Built by a photographer, for photographers.


Every rental studio makes you bring your own gear, figure out someone else's lighting, or pay extra for the props that make a shoot actually work. 314photo.studio was designed the opposite way. One rate gets you everything: a full Sony camera and lens kit, professional strobes and continuous lights, modifiers, curated props, and canvas backdrops, all set up and ready when you walk in. No add-on fees, no guessing what's included. Just a space that's already dialed in, so you can spend your time shooting instead of setting up.

The space


Tucked inside a character filled building with vintage hallways and classic staircases, the studio gives you more than just the shooting room itself. Step outside the set and you've got textured, nostalgic hallways ready for editorial portraits and cinematic frames, so one booking gives you multiple looks without ever leaving the building.

STUDIO POLICY



For everyone's safety, children (including newborns) are not permitted in the studio. The space is built for professional work and includes gear that isn't suited for young children




COME PREPARED


Knowledge of studio equipment and workflow is assumed. The studio manager is on-site to keep your session running smoothly, not to teach you how to use the gear.



SHARED BUILDING


The studio is inside a shared commercial building. Please keep noise and music at a reasonable volume. Alcohol and smoking are not permitted anywhere in the studio or building, under any circumstances.

Props


The prop collection is built for concepts, not just backdrops. A throne chair for anything that needs a little drama or grandeur, a bathtub for softer, editorial, or beauty-focused shoots, a swing for movement and playfulness in the frame, and a set of vintage speakers for a retro, moody feel. Mix and match them with the canvas or paper backdrops and you've got enough variety to build several distinct looks in a single session, all without bringing in a single outside prop.

Canvas backdrops


The studio comes with seamless paper backdrops for clean, classic setups, plus four hand-painted canvas backdrops for something with more texture and character. Texture Grey works well for moody, editorial portraits, Texture Orange/Red brings a bolder, more saturated feel, and Purple Floral and Brown Floral give you a softer, more romantic option when a shoot calls for it. Between the paper and the canvas sets, you've got real range without ever leaving the room.
